Emily knocked out a tooth as a teenager and lost all confidence in her smile. As part of our annual Community Care Day, we restored Emily’s smile. Emily’s smile makeover and the huge change to her smile:
- Involved what we call the “social six” (the upper canines and the teeth in between)
- Emily had lost an anterior tooth and had a retained primary canine (baby tooth).
- Two implants placed to replace the primary canine (extracted prior).
- Surrounding teeth received veneers using a cosmetic wax-up model for easy design of a 3D printed temporary bridge (to serve as the final design framework while the implants heal in the bone).
- Once the implants have integrated to the bone, final delivery of the veneers and implant crowns will be completed in 4-6 months.
